Matt Rizor brings nearly 27 years of professional experience from General Motors, where he built a distinguished career before accepting a buyout opportunity to pursue his long-held goal of becoming a financial advisor. Today, Matt proudly serves as an LPL Financial Advisor with Tarr Financial, where he is committed to helping individuals and families pursue clarity, confidence, and purpose in their financial lives.
Matt has earned his Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses, demonstrating his dedication to professional excellence and client service. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Wayne State University and anticipates graduating in the Spring of 2027. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Oakland University.

Originally from Romeo, Matt now resides in Oxford with his wife of 17 years and their two sons. Outside of the office, he can often be found cheering on his boys from the sidelines of a football field or baseball diamond—or enjoying time together on the golf course.
Matt is also deeply invested in his local community. He serves as the General Manager of the Oxford Junior Wildcats youth football and cheer program, where he is passionate about fostering teamwork, leadership, and positive experiences for young athletes and their families.
